Black Mesa is cool but I prefer HL1. Hope the multiplayer will be more oldschool. For me the actual singleplayermovement feels more like a mix between Halo and CoD than anything else..

you can turn off, lower the side leaning in the blackmesa tab (theres a slider), you can remove the head bobing. I feel the epicness.

If you had read the description of the mod, they never said they intended to copy hl1 gameplay.

I haven't played it much but it seems great so far. I definitely wouldn't say that it's better than HL2, though. Maybe better than episode 1.
