Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developers have via their Twitter account announced that they will be meeting with Counter-Strike 1.6 pros and others at the IEM6 Global Challenge New York.
The teams able to test and consult Valve are currently: Evil Geniuses, Temporary, Backfire, mTw, SK Gaming and Moscow Five.
Cspromod, recently got a lot of attention due to it's high fidelity to 1.6 and the bad reception of CS:GO
With all the recent bug fixes on on the devlogs I hope a patch will come timed with the IEM6 events to bring the focus back to CSPromod as well
--- Update ---
from the hltv comments:
( a lot of ppl mention CSPromod)
(I agree)sounds like a pr stunt
HLTV replied: I'm planning to do a post prior to my trip to New York, where you can ask questions to the developers and I will pick out the best ones.If it's possible could you (HLTV.org staff) ask the developers of CS:GO what they think of CSPromod or if they even know what it is?
so > we need to post that question there.. I really need feedback from valve regarding CSPromod as they seem to make ZERO effort in approaching this team
