config not saving correctly

i cannot, no matter what i do, get my config to save correctly. i know all the read only bullshit, and i never have this problem is cs:s or cs 1.6. Everytime i reload promod my AF will be on trilinear even though i keep setting it to 16x, and my crosshair settings reset.

why?

yep tried that... i can't fucking get it to work no matter what i do
everything else is saved thats the weird part... like most of my settings save correctly, but my AF and crosshair_advanced_size go back to default every time

Have you actually deleted the old cspromod before installing the new one?

Also you might want to delete or edit 1.06's registry settings:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\cspromod\Settings

The same thing happened to me on every source game tbh.

i did delete 1.06... well all i did was delete the cspromod folder.

Ok i'm still having trouble figuring this out. I dropped some commands into my autoexec and that fixed the AF issue. But no matter what the fuck I do, i cannot get my crosshair to save correctly. It's like mind blowing LOL.
I have it on medium, with crosshair_scale 1, and crosshair_size 3. But the game ALWAYS loads up with crosshair_size 4. I have it set as 3 in my config and autoexec, but it ALWAYS comes up with the value 4.
I don't get it :s

Your description is quite confusing since we've gotcrosshair_size that accepts values small/medium/large which is used to set crosshair to 1.6's sizes and crosshair_advanced_size to modify lines width.

First cvar sets seccond to 3 on small, 4 on medium and 5 on large. You need to set 2nd one after first one.

P.S.
Have you tried to delete your registry csp settings as i told you before? Didn't it fix the AA issue?
