    Lightbulb csp_tuscan under construction =)

    Hey CSProMod community, I'm Mariano.
Wanted to say hi, and give the notice that i'm currently creating the csp_tuscan. Started 2 days ago, i've already built CT Spawn, A and B bomb, and now im doing the long hall to TT Spawn. I think it will take around 2 or 3 weeks to be completed. May be more or less since im studying and working 15 hours per day aprox. So, i'm trying to do my best to complete it ASAP.
And besides, this thread is to prevent from others to create the same map. (Just in case)

I'm a Counter-Strike 1.6 mapper since 2004 aprox., you can download some maps I made such as: dbh_nuke (remasterized nuke with CS:S textures weight 8.4MB and nice details started from scratch) and kz_dbh_pipehop.

This csp_tuscan will be completely amazing. I'm still thinking about the environment context, since the csp_tuscan textures aren't that good, they are pixelized, i will be using nice CS:S textures.

I will be posting images in a few days so you can see my progress.

In the meantime, you can also tell me what type of environment would you like most for a map such as this one.

    Thanks for everything,

    We keep in touch,

    Mariano.

EDITED: Just in case you've seen a received mail about a person who wanted to create the csp_tuscan, it's me. So far, i think there are no people trying to build it atm (Correct me if i'm wrong).

I'm afraid you can't use nether the map name, layout, nor CS:S Tuscan textures without original map's author's permission. That's why there's no csp_tuscan yet.

Wrong forum section anyway, you should have posted that in the Level Design section.
<yuri-> inc did a double fix of that fix; a fix inside a fix; yo dawg

Thanks for letting me know that, anyway, since i'm almost finishing with the construction part. I will finish the map now, but I won't upload it on the Internet till we get the appropiate confirmation and/or creator's authorization. Can anyone contact the de_tuscan's creator ? If so, please let me know.

    Thanks again.

    Marian.

P.S: Sorry for the incorrect posting place. Please move it.

I'll try to ask Brute (the author) on IRC for you (or anyone else for that matter).

Also moved the thread to Level Design.

Finished the construction part took 2 days aprox. In these days i will be ending the design and environment, i guess next weekend or the other will be totally finished to start the "beta testing" of it. And hope i can get Brute's approval since its a nice map and i guess everyone will enjoy playing it on CS Promod.

you can search this forum for csp morocco, szde was that guy's nick.

it was tuscan with small modifications, but he had some leaks causing fps drops and I don't think the map is still up as he left to work on some other mod.

So, thank you for doing this and looking forward to what you come up with

I don't like the mill theme, you see how every1 loves the shiny maps? (Dust2, Inferno, ...) then when in csp they all look dark themed & ppl complained about it.

you make Tuscan again with mill textures and you're going to get one hell of a dark themed map

make it sunny and like in the desert and ppl will be happy playing it! (I bet this is the secret to maps that have a long life! - ppl want to feel happy when they see their bright red blood splatters in their sunny map)
