    Actually that was the main purpose of j0lt's testing maps. It's mentioned in this old devlog, I know the pic containing the info is missing but j0lt, doublethink and Redstar spend hours on this to make the distances and volume match 1.6 in csp. That's why much deeper research is needed.

    in future, yes. i played 1.04 the other day and i thought the whole time osomeone is behind me!+!+!+ but thats not the case in 1.05 ... so i think they did something th3r3.

    lyl, so the answer to these trolls questions was right there. I think forums shld be private and new ppl registering shld be forced to read through all of the devlogs, with a hidden message in the devlog which provides the answer for the next devlog to be read. once all devlogs have been read and all answers given, they shld have access to the forum to post.

    PS:I have to admit that I also I didn't remember that doublethink had described how they handled 1.05 sound coding even though I read it months ago... but I wasn't posting troll questions about it either. tssiii
