    Dust2 tweak needed?

In long A on dust2 (igloo, dungeon, A tunnels, w.e you want to call it) there is a very useful flash that is a lot easier to throw in promod than 1.6.

Now I know things will be tons more different when the new models are put in, however I think that it wont make much of a difference, if any, to fix this. (If it even is something you want to fix?)

http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/5016/jumpingd.jpg This is the angle from the promod perspective. The box is pretty far out from the wall and its very easy to bank a flash off of it.

http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/879/jumping16.png In 1.6, it isn't nearly as easy and even requires a little practice to get it most of the time. The box is farther to the right, the wall plays a big factor, can easily block it. There really is just a small zone you can get it through to have it go off where you want it.

I hope this hasn't already been discussed, but I hadn't heard about it anywhere so I don't think it has. Thanks.

Dont think the models will affect the position of the box?

i think the maps are great and they shouldn't change nothing !
the game isn't have to be a copy of 1.6...those angles makes it new game...and i think some of the angles are
    great for competitive game play.

i think when the box is there far from the top of the wall its easy to throw a flash and it makes the CT work harder to save the long...i think those angles are great ! think about it

I have thought about it and said in my post "If they even want to change it."

And as far as a competitive aspect, T side is already the dominant side of the map, now you're going to make it even easier to take over a spot? Just not the best idea in the world, in my mind anyway.

They do since your view is higher.

Its partially the arc as well, but in a sense of balance Long A is more ct sided than anywhere

Don't understand how that will change anything other then you being shorter. The box simple is too far to the left or the arc isn't in the way enough. If you want to "balance" a map that is already in favor of T side I honestly don't have a problem with that. I just thought it was meant to be as near to an exact replica of the 1.6 version as possible.

We are not making the game or maps 100% identical. Please read our About page and our mission statement. No where on our site does it say we are making this identical to 1.6, inlcuding maps. Gameplay is not the levels, levels partially create gameplay, and how you adapt to those new environments which makes competition that much greater and enjoyable to watch.

Sorry then I was mistaken. However I did ask if you even wanted to change it in the first place, could have saved us some wasted typing but whatever. Just checking in to see if you intended something like this to be different from 1.6.
