Just curious if cspromod will eventually be on the steam store in the mods section. It would be cool if it got on there when it was out of beta. It would be a good way for it to get even more exposure.
Internet Explorer may not be fully supported. The CSP Team recommends you to download FireFox or Google Chrome. Thank you!

That's the plan, but it's not really up to the devs to decide that. They definitely do apply for a spot on Steamworks, but it's up to Valve to hand them a spot or not.
wouldn't this also make it possible for the game to be automatically updated by steam?
Yep, that's the main advantage with steamworks.
at least people won't complain about buying source just for pro mod if pro mod is sold as a separate product
This thread is not about making CSPromod a stand-alone game; it's about making it a featured mod on Steamworks, much like other mods already supported by Valve, such as Minerva, Distopia, Insurgency, etc.Originally Posted by Okas
It would still be a modification, but it would be downloadable through Steam, and would update automatically (like Steam games already are), and would also be able to take advantage of a few Steam features such as Achievements/Player Statistics and others.
