    I would love to have a dot in the middle of my screen, instead of crosshair, but as some of you have said already, the weapons aren't that accurate, as a railgun in Q3 (for example), so it would actually annoy me, aiming directly at oponnent's head with that dot and not hitting his head

    K I'll post some screenshots to describe the issue even better and I've made a photoshopped image which somewhat resembles the crosshair if it would be solved. I don't really care if 1.05 has this already as I'm aware that right now there are far more important issues, but if in 2011 in version 1.09 (or whatever version) the crosshair on widescreen is still a major disadvantage over, especially 800x600, I'd get pissed.

    Actually they shud even consider making crosshairs always that accurate, no matter what resolution. Like I said, the size is not a problem, it's the gap in the middle.

    true, i hate when the guy is standing still far away crosshair right on his head 1 shot and it misses, inaccurate ak-47 ftl :cry:
