the models are to big or the boxes are small cuz u can look over them like in css and see the heads more easily
Here's my .02 cents.
I love the HUD. Much easier to glance down and see what I need to. It looks to me (correct me if I'm wrong), that the Beta is using 1.6 player models? I prefer the look of the Source models. Put your flames away, it's personal opinion. Same goes with the grenade physics. I like Source HE grenade physics better than 1.6.. The 1.6 grenades seem to float and don't travel as fast.
My biggest one is the buy menu. The thing that really brings down the beta for me is having to go through and manually buy everything, every time. I know it's just a beta, but I hope in the final you guys use the regular buy menu so we can save our favorite set-ups.
Overall I like it though. I can't wait to see how it develops. Great jobs guys! Keep up the good work!

The HE is a bit big for it but I also think that it'll be fixed soon in 1.05 specially since the models are going to be updated to 1.6 models. Everything is going great and cant wait for the next update. A couple questions though and I guess I would ask the community here as well for answers. Will crouch-hopping stay? (hitting and scrolling down crouch at the same time). Will the AWP have an accurate noscope like in 1.6? (I didn't read the rest of the forums I came in just as beta was coming out). Will nades be able to curve around corners or roll on walls like in 1.6? (not like source where it has to be perfect or it will hit the wall). Thats all i got and if this is in the wrong area apologies.![]()

But the buy menu should have maybe a cs:s style option because buying weapons everytime manually is just boring we should have like it was on cs:s where you could rebuy previous and also have your custom setupsAlso the granades are huge and when you kill someone with an HE the image that it shows you killed them with looks like a flash I'm sure you ment to do that but I think it would be better as a he image :/ Other than that great game

not completely digging the sounds and models, but overall very nice!
I think everything is nice except a few major details per map (squeeky door wont close when you walk ON it, there's no standable area on top of if, big rock is much harder and there's some new boostable area in hall, you can throw a smoke to middle doors on d2 from t base over the thing which is a big change, you can throw 5 smokes there and still rush b etc)
then some details like i think you can reload while defusing (i think), and being able to press e while reloading and other small stuff that are easy to fix but not such big things, also for example on nuke i think you can't spam the window downstairs from ct waiting room (didn't get it on the first time anyway, or if i did i didn't hear it)
it's hard to tell the pistols apart from the ground
to me the two biggest problems are the sounds and crouching. I never have any idea where anyone is, if i'm hitting anyone or not... hope you can make a setting of having 100% 1.6 sounds and soundsystem, since you already took some sounds directly ( i honestly don't think this is something you can just get used to, it worked better in 1.6).
i don't care what you do with crouch hopping, but the movemet speeds and going up and down and somehow being much slower after you just landed and something i don't know what it is but it could be the models --- do models affect your moving apart from viewpoint ?

It might seem much but i mean everything i didn't say is good-- for a big game that list is not such a big thing.
edit: ladders need tweaking, they have a more linear path than they should i think
