    Top Issues with 1.04 (for me)

    After playing for about 3 hours or so I'm fairly impressed with the strides made from the previous versions. It seems like we have a solid base that just needs some tweaks here and there. I'm sure I missed some of the other issues, but for my playtime these were the top ones:

    1) Crosshair Size. The crosshair size is WAAAY to big for people who use 'fairly' large monitors like myself. I have a 24' monitor and no matter what resolution/aspect ratio I set it at it was still too big. Here's what it looks like:

    I think you either need to give the cl_crosshairscale command back or use some other method to reduce it's size.

    2) Spectating jitterness. When spec'ing another player it feels like there is a lot of lag and skips, almost as if their rates are very low. This happened on every person I spec'd.

    3) Damage done. I'd like to see in console the damage i've done to other players, i'm not sure if servers can add a plugin for this or not. Either way I think it should be part of the default game.

    4) HP/Dead Scoreboard. It's hard to tell sometimes who's alive and dead because both the DEAD and HP text are the same color. I would suggest changing the colors.

    5) Awp Quickswitch Delay. This is really a personal opinion rather than a game issue; but I don't like the awp delay when quickswitching. This wasn't always a part of 1.6, it was added in a steam update after 1.6 was released. Maybe people prefer it as a balance issue but I'd like to see it removed and have the awp act like it did in the 1.5 version and below, not sure if i'm in the minority on this or not. Either way it's not a game-breaking issue.

    Tha'ts all I can think of at this point.

    I actually prefer having the awp delay for balance reasons. We all remember how dominant 1 player could be with an awp back in the day(Ksharp). I like how it is now.

    1.) not an issue in cs 1.6 so you might be out of luck.

    2.) thats because the netcode has to be set up that way so that we dont have 100ms interp bug present in CS:S

    3.) I agree.

    4.) I agree. Just a simple color change and it would be fine. It isn't an issue during scrims thought because there is a player counter at the bottom of the screen.

    5.) Balance issue. Awp can only be so powerful.

    With their current 1 second blind effect. Why run strats involving flashbangs, if you can just run around like retards shooting?

    agree with #4, i had that same problem too and its annoying as >< (the not being able to tell if people are dead or not via tab)

    Not sure what this means. Crosshair is easily scalable in the source engine.

    awp delay should actualy be incraseda bit the awp shouldnt be a rushing tool it should be for picking people off from afar and support.

    1] Agree.
    2] With net_graph 4 on you can see when you swap between speccing players you get alot of choke from the server. dont know if this is anything to do with it.
    3] Only after the round has finished.
    4] Agree.
    5] Disagree, it's meant to be 1.6 not Source. Just get used to it :]

    6) Lack of para.

    Now that we can wallspam I look forward to getting 10-20 hits in before I see a single member of the other team, but without para it's not the same!

    Same as LiqzZ and to answer to DanLegenD> 1.6 is not a reference I mean, in 1.6 you were not able to change crosshair size but they've made the game 7 years ago and nobody care at the time because they were playing with 800x600 or 1024x768 (17' screens) and today most of the people have at least 19" to 22" in average
