[OLD] How-to Setup a CSPromod BETA 1.04 Server

This is what i did:

Installed a normal CSS server,

uploaded de cspromod folder to the server folder (same folder where cstrike is)

in the start up command change -mod cstrike to -mod cspromod

and start the server =)

make sure you add +map csp_dust

what directory do I put behind -dir in cmd? XD

So what you did was; Installing a regular CSS server, changed the cstrike folder with the cspromod folder, changed -game cstrike with -game cspromod ?

in fact I know css install but I thought there were specific things to do because of cspromod, I was lost for nothing.

1) cd /home/
2) mkdir cspromod
3) cd cspromod
4) mkdir steam
5) cd steam

6) wget http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.bin

7) chmod -cvR a+x hldsupdatetool.bin
./hldsupdatetool.bin

Type Yes

9) rm -rf ~/.steam ==> chmod +x steam
10) ./steam
11) ./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir .
12) ./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir . -verify_all

13) cd /home/steam
14) wget http://dl.redline-hosting.net/cspromod_b104.zip

// if 'unzip' is not installed.
apt-get update; apt-get install unzip

15) unzip cspromod_b104.zip
16) ./srcds_run -console -game cspromod +map csp_dust2 -maxplayers 24 -autoupdate -tickrate 100 +port 27027

I suggest adding this to the first post since it's a good tutorial, very easy to follow.

That was for BETA 1.04 (before the hotfix) and it won't work. Read this.
