Searching for teammates

Hello everybody,

i don't want to play csp just in public style, because i like the tactic way in cs.

Why there isn't a topic or something else, that makes it possible to search teammates?

I will start in this thread:

My name is Marvin Wild, i'm from germany and i'm 19 years old.

I play cs 1.6 since 2 years, and i got league experience in the ESL.

I am searching for players from germany, who are at least 16 years old, first for testing the new version, then perhaps join a league ( If there will be a league for csp ).

Because this should be reserved for Local communities / local irc channels, Else the csp team has to create a forum for each region and do a subforum for all kinds of stuff like clansearch ... which is pointless.

Agree with Lordearon, a clan search section would not fit in this forum.

why not? just make a forum with TEAM (or something like that) and 2 subcategorys: Teams looking for players, Player looking for team.
and then you just make posting rules like "your thread should describe what you search like [SKILL | FROM?! | AGE]"
and all the teams / players characteristics where just in the thread. no big deal =)

how about instead we integrate ppl that come to this site, with 1.6 & css people in existing communities? just forward them and they'll find lots of local players and a whole framework that has already been setup for that purpose?

What about an IRC channel?

In germany there is #clansuche and #membersuche, we could change that to #clansearch.csp and #membersearch.csp.

It would be interesting to see how many people will search a team for csp after the release of 1.04!

Why don't you just stick with your current channels?

Since CS:S came out, its hard to say who is searching teammates for 1.6 or for CS:S, so a new channel for a new game would be better than idle the old channels.
