I remembered one thing, what should be fixed in CSP. Why all weapons have recoil, while He greanade haven`t? Recoil from exploding object must be stronger than simple gun shot, since it creates a strong shockwave. There are some tricks where people can boost people to higher places with using recoil of weapons, but HE just blows up and take away HP. That doesn`t make sense in any way.

Why not? There is already plently enough penalty for trying to blow himself up,if you mean what people will start to use it for boosting, loL

and people like you are saying the awp would be too strong when the delay would be removed or the increasing of the walking speed would ruin the game.... omfg

Heh, so that will make HE too overpowered? But i never sayd what that recoil will be so strong what it will allow you to boost yourself over 100 meters without any effort... Maybe it could just blow you 0.5 meter away and could be unusable for real boosting... But in actual cw, if somebody hears HE blow up and knows what there isn`t enemy, it will be quite easy to figure out what somebody used it for boosting... Also, HE takes away a lot of HP. Also, even if HE from enemy can do some recoil to you, you will get blown away from your position, what will possibly save you from second HE... Also, it will create new teniques and skills, what people could use in cs and make game a bit more realistic as well. It could raise competitive play, even if sounds quite inadequate for counter-strike. Well, we could also take a easy path and make that recoil as weak as i mentioned in my 3nd sentence..

You mean throw you away or just slow you down. If its the first, no because you could just throw he to hiden places and make them show, and bye bye hiding, also ct for example could just throw he to dark place in b side on dust2 and pull everybody out of place and just go in and kill.

It depends on where HE explodes, if you`re in very corner, then HE most explodes even nearer to corner in order to throw you away from there. And besides bombarding campers out of theyr camppoints sounds a pretty good idea... x{}

and he does blow you away very far when it kills when you are standing, so its not a failure its a made decision.

My original tought what HE just needs a some recoil, not neccesarily so powerful, but if players don`t like idea about boosting or blasting away, then just make it weaker... I want to hear also if players would want something like this at all in a way what HE just does a little recoil at least...
p.s. spad3r, what are you talking about, i`m not CSS hater without a reason, i play games because of theyr gameplay. And this suggestion is about making game a bit more interesting and adding more gameplay options, so it doesn`t go against my style and conviction.

Would change the game too much if the effect is too big, and if the effect is super small there is no need for an effect at all.

only blow you away if you are in the air. Example: while you are jumping and a nade hits you it blows you away from the explosion.

Haha it would be a cool feature to be able to use a nade to boost lol. Creates new tactics. The hp loss is very high so it's balanced out in a way. Just like shoot boosting. If you wanna get boosted up to high places, be ready to lose most of your hp.

Though I think this is far too radical an idea for the cs community. A newly inserted cloud in the sky can piss some of the people off here :lol:

He doesn't mean recoil or viewpunch. He means it should push players around, like when you get shot with a rifle while jumping.

Even tho its cool, requires some skill (mostly timing) and could create some interesting 1v1 scenarios (say you are stuck in the bombsite in a corner, you could nade jump up a box and surprise your enemy) I dont think it fits CS at all.

Basically you want to see grenade-jumping ala Quake/TF in CS? That'd be pretty lame lol. That's typical of fast-paced deathmatch games, not slow-paced round-oriented games like CS. Just imagine peeking long A with the awp, get 5-man rushed and grenade jump all the way to the bombsite. Or the bomb gets planted, you go to A and find out it's in B, then grenade jump all the way through ct spawn to get there.

Besides, it'd guarantee the person who threw the HE a kill if they were to meet the guy getting naded in a direct gunfight. It'd fuck up the other guy's aim so bad it would be simply impossible to react.

I vote no, cause it's way to random and in my option should be totaly removed (unless I will be proved wrong about that it's random, and has an actual 'engine' [not just randomly shoot a person]).
