I know most of the developers have seen me post this being a source player, but im a bit disappointed at the fact that season has had its A site, t spawn, and middle color taken out. i know that cashed (i believe) is the maker of season and whatnot, but lets face it, this game is using no aspects of cs:source except weapon models, textures, and the overall source engine.

i think this game is awesome, im not flaming CSP or its developers, but i think that the least you developers could do, was at least keep that one single aspect from source in CSP. even if the skybox doesnt match, i dont think its too much to ask to just change the color back on a map that was first developed for cs:source.

what if i wanted to play a scrim on csp? i couldnt use it then cause the two versions are different. and from what i know, wallbangs and spams are coded into the csp season map, and not the source version. l2comprehend

if you play the source version, then check out the screenshots in the media section on this site of the csp version, the middle area, the a site, and t spawn are like colorless.

Let me explain it: CSP is CS 1.6 but nicer. So if you like Source, play Source and if you like 1.6, play CSP.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about, since from my understanding the models for 1.04 will be smaller, thus making ordinary source maps too big, considering boxes and stuff like that. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Now that de_season is a part of the CSP Stock maps the turquoise blue could be replaced with the original color scheme, it doesn't affect gameplay however for the sake of "keeping things the way they are" that should be taken into consideration.

Yes I know what phreaK means. Personnaly I don't care, but it's right the season's colours are great on Source :) But maybe it is just the video effect ?

And personnaly I'd rather play on a map with bright colours than a dead ambiant map. It give us some energy :D
