ok this is not a thread about bouncy grenades or physics or any of that flame war stuff, no im hear to talk to you about one thing that people have been screaming about on severs since the game came out. one of counter strikes must utterd(ya i spelt i funner) phrases is "WTF I CANT BELEIVE THAT NADE WAS AT YOUR FEET AND ONLY DID 82 DAMAGE". so wat im trying to say is give the grenades a little ompf just so theyre not so under powerd.

This isn't COD nades don't 1 hit kill for a reason. Nades are there to support you in your assault/defense, not win it for you as they do AOE damage.
Yeah nothing is worse than a randy nade killing you sloppily thrown by a nube. thats also one of the major complaints in the cod4 community also is that Set Nades[A frag usually thrown at the beginning of a round from spawn to stop a rush] kill to many people. In Cs nades are a luxury and and also part of some stack strats not to get lucky and get 2 kills within 5 sec after the round starting.

I think that grenades already do enough damage. This is not 1 hit kill game. You are telling same as if you hit someone in chest with glock - they should instantly die... This game is not about making 1 direct hit - it's about making as much damage as you can to kill an enamy.
And you reminded me something. But first to avoid "oh css kid" I must and I will say that I'm 1.6 player and I hate source. However I do think that all of 1.6 players will agree that grenade sizes are really big in GouldSource engine. I would recommend making them twice smaller when it will come to modeling, but change textures so players will understand what grenade was throwned at them. =P
