The movement is fine.

I like how the T spawn alley was made because it evens the odds for CT's crossing the middle doors. If you guys havent seen, the ceiling of the alley is higher so that CT's have a more equal chance at picking terrorists after freezetime. It adds a nice extra dimension.

Im still having sensitivity trouble when zooming and unzooming with the AWP on dedicated servers.

Changing maps or switching to another server reverts all visual settings to default (high.) Im not sure if this is an engine issue or an issue with the mod, but it does get annoying as I hate specular mapping and bumpmap in this game.

I played on a french server with 150 ping as Im in the eastern US, and with high ping the recoil on the m4 and AK is almost uncontrollable entirely. It just jerks back and forth repeatedly and rapidly. The recoil on a listen server is fine though.

Some new things I noticed is the change in the crosshair where the top line in the crosshair is out of whack to match 1.6 now. I don't know why this was necessary to be honest and it doesnt really hurt things but it also doesnt make sense. It seems like an over exerted effort to be nostalgic.

I realize the animations arent finished but I still think these need to be the #1 priority for the next update. Now I know theres lots of close minded people here, but after watching teammates running around and shooting, I think that when not shooting the weapon should be at the hip, and when you start shooting it should be brought up to the shoulder. This is how its done in CSS and it looks a lot nicer and cleaner, it also makes the most sense. Also the hair on the models just makes it look weird

My only real problem with the game thus far is that when shooting, the lines in the crosshair still arent expanding correctly, and instead the lines are just getting longer which is annoying.

here some feedback after 2 hours playing:

- the flying in specmode is still too fast, plz slow down this
- when you choose a team and this team is full, you get the message that the team is full, but the teamchoosemenu doesnt popup again, its very annoying to ever repress the teamchoosebutton
- the m4 recoil is to weak and the m4 seems a little bit to strong. its to easy to kill your enemnys with spraying
- the ak recoil is to strong, when you fire some 2 or 3 shoot bursts in a short time the crosshair is to huge
- when you walk down some stairs with a little bit speed and press "duck" during that, in 1.6. you glide 2 or 3 steps in csp you stop down in this moment
- sometimes you are 100% on an enemy and you know that in 1.6 its definitely head, in csp you dont hit him it must be a gameproblem (iam very experienced, iam german and i have played on a german server with 20 ping again other players with 20 ping, i know when its a inet prob or a gameerror).

- the BIGGEST problem are still the sounds, its very hard to hear your enemys, on de_nuke its impossible to hear anything with this strange "hall" sound

positive:
the movement is perfect
the grenades, maps are good
very often it feels like 1.6

its some times better than 1.06, all you need are new better sounds, a new t-model, a little bit weapon fine tuning and some netcodefixes that every bullet hits the enemy and doesnt gone thorugh...

The xhair expanding is not 100% that's known. There have been tweaks to its contraction speed, which should be kidna noticable.

I's 1px shorter upper line with cl_crosshair_thickness 1, is also known and a weird bug.

There is some strange networking bug which causes players getting high amount of choke. Maybe it affect this. Also the hitboxes system is more complex than in GoldSrc.

It has already been announced (somewhere :D) that NEW animations will come along with new model(s).

Sensitivity issues with pings 150+ms ... it's a problem but u know.

I absolutely agree to what otsche said! i'm from germany too and had the same pro's and con's!
But an additional point for me is, that the player models are now a bit too small! You could see this especially on long distances like from upper middle to lower middle t-ramp on inferno!
Beside of this the game is the right step in the right direction, and way better than source when it's done! :up:

He did not asked this, he just said that you have replicated it on csp and that it would be the same with or without this.

I might highlu disagree with his opinion, csp1.06 never felt 1.6 like cuz the crosshair was sightly diffrent while standing :P

First, i'm french ... so i'm sory for my very bad english.

After 15 minutes of play, i've notice 2 bug.

- Sometimes there is a problem when a player switch team : he keep the last skin used

- When we look through smoke, if the crosshair is on an ennemy, we can see his name and we can easily smokeshot.

this show playerinfo is too instant anyways should have a delay of 0.5 sec or soemthing

I've noticed that too, and ALSO if you're looking to the sky in B (dust2) when the bomb is planted (I was tero) you can't hear the bomb "beep" sound anymore (small bug but I just wanna let you know).
