Would you guys like to see a Un-Buy-an-item button, insert maybe? Have you ever bought a dam tactical shield before? Night Vision? Well this button could re-fund your last buy :)

Might be a good idea. I do stupid stuff like that all the time and buy a scout or something instead of an awp.

OR, when I buy a gun when everyone else is saving. Could be useful, but it's not too much of a big deal. :)

once i buyed a mp5 instad of a famas, we lost the round :/ - ever heard of a "mistake"? :P


but, think about THIS:

i kill all ppl in the first round, plant the bomb with BOOM, pick up a dgl.
and then i sell the dgl and buy a awp :O


so money management become more unimportant :/


it should only be allowed 5 seconds after buying a weapon.
i would be great, because it always happens in gather, that some one buys
and the rest of the team dont have the money to buy.
so at the next round there is a hole in the ct defense :/

but this is also ofc a skill called TEAMPLAY!

Plus, you should learn how to use any gun properly in cs ;) The scout is a kick ass gun. If you aren't landing the kills, then you are at least hitting half damage to help out your team mates. If you aren't hitting half damage, then you never should have considered awping.

If by chance you buy a gun on save round, then you do everything in your power to land as many kills as possible. I'm sure your team mate will agree to allow you to bait him to make this possible (he is saving so his death doesn't really matter).

If by chance you do make a mistake, there is ALWAYS an alternative. There's always a way out. Keep positive and keep focused. Being a good player is doing your best regardless of circumstances. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes you're under pressure.. just practice ;)

Also, mp5 is one of the best guns in the game. Same with all the other "non-pro" guns. You can easily land a kill with them if you play your position and timing right. The only gun I accept people calling legitimately bad would probably be the tmp.

why would you want to make money management unimportant. The money system is a really strong and good layout in cs and even source didnt deviate bar the buy no ammo feature.

Oh but indeed it is.

Scout vs AWP. The AWP generally wins, because you only have to hit once to get a kill, where as with scout takes multiple hits or a damn clean head-shot. Now in a closeup fight against other weapon types, scout's even more screwed, because the time it takes you to land multiple hits compared to an AWP's one, your screwed against an M4. Competitively speaking, the AWP is a better choice 99.9% of the time, and that's why you rarely see scouts in competitive play, so for this mods goals of being competitive focused, the scout "is" stupid.

you saw the video i posted in another thread? mtw.dk uses scouts vs. SK (with awps) and win the round because of the scouts

Un-buy in the freeze time would be nice. If u buy wrong by some mistake u should be able to revert this. The penalization for your mistake would be "more typing in the freeze" => when you change your mind like 1s before the freeze ends, you would loose some secs of the round.
Right now, I dont know if this hypothetical feature is exploitable in some way :)

pffh. learn the buy menu and if you buy wrong it's your own fault. being able to sell back on freeze time will just fuck up the money system and erasing the advantage of wining the first 2-3 rounds since enemies can just save their mp5's and buy an M4/AK next round.

yeah it happens that you misbuy but hopefully CSP won't have the retarded weapons like in cs (fiveseven, TMP, UMP, autosniper, AUG/the T one and that spray gun with 100 bullets that do the same damage as left click attacking your enemy with the knife) and if those are gone you shouldn't have a real problem with miss clicking and people buying then realising he should save maybe should wait before he goes on a buying craze and the team leader should tell them to save up before they start buying

lol seriously... read the fricking faq. adding all guns is not top prio, therefore only the most frequently used "standard" guns are in at the moment. hopefully we'll see most guns added later on in development - when that is the current priority.

if you make a mistake like buying in an eco/save round or you buy a wrong weapon, you and your team should suffer for the mistake you or your team made... thats how the competetive scene works... you choke or do something wrong, then you should suffer...

bind the weapons to a key and then you dont have to unbuy it (if you make the mistake of buying some other weapon than the one you intended to). if you accidentally DO buy some other weapon then its your own fault. you should not be depending on the game, depend on yourself, so if you make a mistake its your own problem and you cant blame the game like some 12 year old...

the ultimate thing about a new CS game would be that a individual could make a difference and not like in css (and a bit of 1.6) where the actual game sets the boundaries and the person sitting in front of the computer are no better than some other guy sitting in front of the game (if these two guys have the same amount of experience, skill ...) You can reach a top level and then it stays there, that's what i mean, basically.

Pros mis-buy all the time (well, it happens) and stupid rounds are the effect. Stupid rounds are stupid.

That's why I made a buy script for myself in 1.6....now you don't need to know shit to make a buy script its all standard options.
