I'm sure most people would agree the blood particles are a bit too large when not shooting the head and I wanted to suggest a possible solution to the problem. The issue right now seems to be that the blood particle is very misleading. People see 3,4 gooshes thinking they are doing quite a bit of damage when in reality they aren't. As a solution, perhaps make the size of the blood particle dependent on the amount of damage dealt.
Its a step away from 1.6 but I think its better feedback to the player. So for example, if I were to shoot someone who doesn't have armor with a Glock in the chest and it does 15 damage the blood particle would scale its size depending on the damage while if I were to shoot someone in the same spot in the chest with an AWP the damage would be 100+ damage and the size of the blood particle would scale up to give the player an idea of how much damage they did.
