1.6 hud

Hi!
I think your work lately have been really good. But i have some ideas for the 1.6 HUD in your game.
I think that you should, instead of just changing the csp hud to yellow, try to remake the exact 1.6 hud.
As an 1.6 player i think the orginal 1.6 hud is really nice and i don't like your version of it. It isn't really such a big deal but i believe many 1.6 players think the same.

The CSPromod polls are crap (will clarify this statement if you read on), but as the poll shows, more people think it's bad than good. We don't have a clue about how big the amount of people answering "It needs tweaks" are leaning to the "I like it"/"I don't like it"-side which makes this poll useless. 80% of those answering "It needs tweaks" could potentially be leaning to the "I don't like it"-side. I don't know why they keep making polls with the options like, "It needs tweaks" and "It's on the right track" because we all know these options will get the majority of the votes, but it doesn't really say anything about where the majority stands. Almost nobody doesn't agree that this project is on the right track and that some of the stuff they're doing needs some tweaks here and there. However, the problem with these options is that they are so vague and allow people not to take a stand and forcefully give their honest opinion on the matter which is the point. The polls should feature more tangible options if they want to put other than "I like it"/"I don't like it" in there.

Oh sorry, to keep focus on the HUD... I'm on Mystifax' side.

Actually i think the hud has not to be 100% 1.6/source like... it keep the same system but much more nice (: Just give an open mind to new design...

1.6 style hud should actually be 1.6 hud, not just recolored CSP hud.

Now what do you think would be one of the easiest things to recreate and give it the feel of 1.6? THE HUD. As of right now, the CSP hud adds the features of 'players left' and 'grenades to the HUD but fails at providing other info without having to consciously look at the HUD. By that i mean the feeling you get while playing (eg. +300 after each kill, knowing you are low on health b/c of the red HP ect.)

Definitely, the red in 1.6 stands out a lot more. That's because the font in CSP is too thin, and a bit too small. Also, the + symbol doesn't change color in CSP.

Yea, and thanks to the built in hud scheme choser i can make the classic hud to use this font and make the white hud still look the same.

It's a shame changeing ammo/armor empty bar color changes the shadow of the numbers and that transparent healthbar is white not transparent.
Removing the bars on the classic hud would enchance the classic feeling even more.

I did manage to get rid of the bars. I can't add additive atribute to icons though so for now my classic hud is non-additive.

It need to be a little more transparent I think so it's less noticable only when something happens like low hp

I've just finnished my final version of 1.6 hud. Final because i have no idea how to fix some things and I'll be low on time next few days.
Here's how it looks.

Switching between classic and modern hud switches between white csp hud and my 1.6ish hud.

Does any admin/dev/mod/whatever mind if I make it public?

But this original CSP Classic HUD is ok, only one thing I want to remove this background and line from health, armor, ammo and change color of hud like this from time.

That will be ideal HUD for me.
