Let's start with the fact, I was seriously looking forward to this, although I have barely touched cs 1.6 ( 6-7 years a go for a few hours) & I've played css all the way. I played 1.04 beta & I really don't even remember how that 1 was... But I was looking forward to this one. & It kinda lived to it's expectations, obviously this is beta & will probably progress, but as a player, I defently enjoyed the 3-4 hour experience.
ofc there is still some work to be done & in my opinion csp will be ready to be played competitive in a few months if the updates come quick & precise.
The maps I taught were nice overall, not really anything to criticise for me, but that's something for the professional to find those details ^^.
The Gameplay for me as a css player is something to get used to & will defently be 1 of the points for 1.6 as well as css players I think. Also the recoil did surprise me as very different & I already red alot of how it is not that accurate, etc. & i can't really deny that. But it isn't that bad either, we'll see what they will or won't change about it.
the only question now is, will the competitive top-scene of 1.6 & css, embrace csp, maybe they will, but that's up to the csp-team. They can show now if they're able to fix the bugs & make the game a better experience day by day, untill the day it's complete. :)

I will keep following these updates & test them out & I can only hope for the best.
