Hey guys, I've just about finished with csp_aztec so I decided to start working on csp_edge again :). The map had some HUGE problems, but I think the basic structure of the layout was sound. So I have started the map completely from scratch, sharing similarities with the original layout, but it is now much tighter :).
Watch this space for updates!

Cool ^^ I've started working on dust so I hope cspromod will soon have more good maps than now :)
Changed the layout a little bit because the map was a little on the small side. I think it will shape up quite nicely :)

in my opinion the ramps are way to steep bopth the little orange ones and the bigger one
should make them less steepy or replace them with stairs
hope you understand what i mean im german -> english fail

Yep, I painted all the ramps orange that will turn into stairs. The map geometry is of course extremely basic because this is literally the first stage of having a basic layout :|
Ok, made the layout a bit larger once again, and gave the bombsites a solid fixing, because they were quite boring :P

Edge is a 100% original map by myself, and I haven't decided on a theme for sure yet but I have one in mind, from one of my favourite non-competitive maps :)
The original (take 1) attempt of csp_edge was themed on cs_assault, but it was a massive fail so this one deserves a complete refresh!

I think at one point, Redstar was going for an oil rig theme for a map he was doing but then changed that to like a Black Mesa (surface tension) theme. Would be good to see an oil rig :) (just my opinion obviously)
Made some more modifications to the layout, and made some textures.
The textures are in NO WAY FINAL, and they look quite cartoony and mismatched right now. I'm just experimenting, and hey, anything is better than dev textures :P

Nope, I want to have the map playtested and gauged for fun. I don't want to waste my time if the map is boring.

Layout seems a bit too complicated for my liking. :( But I'm sure as hell that this map will be a stunner.

so, how/when will it be play tested? has it been play tested yet? after 1.05 release?
