I dont know if it has been up atleast it could not find it via the search.


Theres 2 things


in 1.6 when your starting to throw a grenade/flash/smoke theres abit delay from after you have released attack1 til its been throwed.

fx:
For instant if your on dust2 ct spawn and the terrorist is in b captured it. And you as a CT spots a terroirst(1) in the b gate you start to throw a grenade and suddenly after you have released attack1 theres a terroirst(2) jumped out of B window/hole and you want to redirect your nade to terroirst(2). Thats strategy in 1.6, afaik in source/promod dont have the feature instead you just throw nades instantly making it really weird and bad for strategy and tactics to play with.


Another thing "the surfing nade?"

Could be nice to get the nades act like 1.6 on the walls surfing and bouncing, and not just fall to the ground instant as they do atm in source/promod.

Lets have the old nades back, without them the tactics, strategy and the game will never be the same.


btw im ready for some beta test if you need a hardcore player for it :lol: .

okay in another way then

in 1.6 when you start throwing a nade if you want to give it abit extra speed you can swing your mouse even harder after you have started to throw it, thats the delay i am talking about :)


Still dont understand it, then mayb i can make a movie.

I think when you release the +attack Key there is Ã* Little Delay ... You can aim to Ã* diffrent spot or fast Press +Attack again to hold teh Nase back

Yes exactly :) you got my point mate. Is this in 1.04 ? have they thought about it should be in or no one never said it before?

I think when you release the +attack bound key there is a little delay ... you can aim to a diffrent spot or fast press the +attack bound key again to hold teh nade back, or switch to completely cancel teh "throwing part" :P

Talking about nade delay system:

This is a really important feature what must be added:
1. When you throw a nade, after throwing it you switch to your most powerful gun. CS1.6 demo example. (http://www.sendspace.com/file/wzpnwq)
2. When you throw a nade and during the throw delay you press +attack button (so when it should switch to most powerful gun you are holding your attack button) - it switches to a second nade of the same type (if you have them more). CS1.6 demo example. (http://www.sendspace.com/file/gqm1yi)

Where does this theory that the nades fall to the ground instantly in CS:S come from? They bounce less, yes, but they do not instantly fall to the ground.

I think this guy wants the nades to be like 1.6. Sure, it will be done eventually.

On that note, I like switching to my knife after throwing a nade. It makes me look pro. :twisted:

Ehh? Isnt this idea converting 1.6 gameplay to csp ? then stop beeing against 1.6 gameplay.
why bother beta test if you cant live with cs 1.6 secrets.

The thing with aiming your saying, try read my post or others comments again i think u have misunderstand it.

What are you talking about? Did I ever say I'm against 1.6 gameplay? I said there is absolutely nothing stategic about a nade throwing delay.

the only strategic thing with this is that you have to decide if you throw the nade and then switch (and maybe get killed without shooting back) or if you don't throw the nade and switch immediately
