In this game, will it be much harder to hack? because im really tired of counter strike source where almost every player has wall hacks. it makes the game unfair and really boring. I hope this game will have insane but clean competition.

people cheat in source all the time and theres tons of source players that get banned in esea from cheating all the time so i don't what your talking about.

and to op theres gonna be hacks for every game and considering its source engine which there's plenty of public and private cheats out , theres prob gonna be someone cheating when it comes out

Ha Ha, you only get banned by VAC when using a hack while playing on a server. No one can get you VAC banned without you cheating.

I don't think people cheat so much. When i look at players that cheat, i see 2 kind of cheaters.

1. Players who just want to cheat for fun. (5% of the cheaters)
2. Players who believe everyone thats shot him throw the wall is cheating. Then he cheats because he think everyone those it. (95% of the cheaters)

VAC bans manually? if they do then they won't ban you friend. every player can shot through walls if he know there is a famous camp spot - nothing special

Valve don't watch recordings of hackers...u can only get banned if the hax gets detected by VAC on a VAC secured server. Who knows these recordings were made on a VAC or non vac server? Even still if it was on a vac server they wouldn't ban him cause they don't watch these recordings. Only VAC bans people not steam or valve.

Valve has already stated clearly that they don't accept any accusations of people hacking. For all they care, if VAC2 doesn't catch you, you're not hacking. Your friend is telling you bullshit and you're dumb enough to believe him. Unless you're a troll, in which case I must applaud you.

As said before, people in source are very fast to call hacks on people, especially on pubs.
Don't think i've ever been openly accused of hacking on a PCW, but playing pub is just horrid.

Omg you noob, Valve don't watch player submitted demo's. They don't ban manually at all, VAC is a program which bans a player off certain values like hex codes and other stuff. Your friend hacked and thats it.
