Been a while since I posted so sorry if this has been said:
Most of your practice tends to center around deathmatch (DM/TDM), so I figure because counter-strike really never supported this game mode, why not integrate it into the PRO mod? I mean I don't know if any of you played quake (Yeah I can't believe I'm relating CS to quake [Though that HUD does strike a resemblance haha]), but once CPM came out, which was the pro mod for Quake 3, It supported many other game modes that expanded onto the already present components in quake that allowed for easy training and a more enjoyable game experience in general. I remember back in the early days of CSP, Alex was talking about having most of the configs integrated into the servers scripts and then match play could be initiated in an instant. If this has already been worked on, I'm sure it would be easy to script just a common deathmatch with an ACTUAL scoring system, and then allow it to be filtered out in the server browser for easy game mode sorting.
It's funny because a lot of friends who are well versed with many FPS games that take a look at CS, always ask me "Yo is there just like a death match mode or something so I can respawn?" I try not to laugh, as I tell them CS probably isn't a game for them... I think this would be a good step into getting more players involved with counter-strike. True discipline is how you learn how to play, and death matching all day when you're a newb won't do shit for you, but if there was just a structural DM mode, I think players would be drawn more to the game, and would learn quicker before hitting up something like a pub and just getting frustrated from sitting on the side lines all day.
