which aspect of the newer version dont you like?
I don't like the new A spot. The new B switch is awesome, but I would prefer to play the old A short. That's the main problem.

I think the change to short A was better especially for A holding, I could be wrong maybe a vote down the line?

Lite was awesome when it came out i loved it. Hopefully its transition into CSP will be smooth and welcoming.

maybe i should but, lite wasnt really suppose to be delight in nature.
But the theme works, albeit overused, I havent seen it done to its fullest potential.
i love that theme^^
and as long as esea isnt complaining i think the name could stay? xD
keep updating, cant wait to playtest it =)
The name just feels a bit weird somehow, even de_lite. Just sayin'

Thanks for the make man. I really liked playing this map in esea. Helped me escape the damn original maps.
And "lite" makes sense to me. It's a small and compact map. It's light. It's not the opposite, that being a heavy map (ie cpl strike). Just "light" has 2 meanings. So using "lite" makes sense.
Also, short and recognizable is important (ie csp fall ^^)

I never got to play lite competitively, but I thoroughly enjoyed it on the couple pubs that had it. The port is looking fantastic. I hope you stick with that sunset/rise light and the dark sky, because that's looking really nice. I know some people are going to say 'make everything bright I can't see shit!' but that's because they're actually blind.
I've noticed you do the sides of those industrial buildings very well. I know next to nothing about mapping but from what I've seen on custom source maps, you are definitely a cut above. Great work!

the orange lookin building i will make my own texture, cant find anything in hl2 that would fit.
Surprisingly the skybox lighting is default for that sky on the sdk website.

Great mapping and all, but somehow the source engine makes this look so depressing =/

i can make it clean if i wanted, as some one has done a mirrors edge type system on source. I just didnt choose this for my theme. and when i pick a theme i stick to it, not mix and match like a lot of intermediate level designers.

I think it would be a good idea to fix the latest version of the original de_lite first. I like the layout, but HLDS won't even start on it. And when i tried to watch the ESEA finals demo on this map i got boxes and doors and other stuff missing all over the place. There's some serious problems with it.
