If you really want too please go to the "Teams" section and email Doublethink. I hope you can do something because we need more people.

autrian devs ftw! :D

Of course...maybe I could create some maps.

In the last months I built some balanced and good looking maps for 1.6
Would be easy to port them to CSP. Maybe I could support cashed a little bit...

Email doublethink@cspromod.com and see what happens, I'm going to work with bio to put a jobs page up on the site soon.

Make a map for CSP and show it off. If you're any good, it will show in your work.

Oh damn, I feared you'll say that... :?

No lil' joke, I'll try to post a map in the "level design" section as soon as possible.

We're setting up a new page on the website which will be coming in the next few days about jobs and what not related to the mod. So until then just wait for that to be up and you'll have all the informations you need to apply.

I think there's a lot of effort needed in a not so difficult area: porting maps such as tuscan, strike, ... and other successfull league maps. It doesn't matter that 3 ppl are porting the same map, the best port will win and get a spot in the default mappack

You should really know your shit before opening your mouth.

love you for that

More coders FTW!

Coders need real previous examples of work in the source engine, resumes are helpful too.

What kind of 3d modeling experience?

We have setup an account for this at jobs@cspromod.com

If your message got lost in the website/domain transfer I apologize, but keep in mind what I said about coding, the requirements are strict for a reason.

jobs@cspromod.com should be advertised more.
maybe you'll find someone for the 3d-animation work

Except we cannot port tuscan, strike, and those other successful league maps. You should really know your shit before opening your mouth.

I will school you on the matter: tuscan, strike, and other maps are property of their original authors, and without consent CSPromod cannot reproduce them in any way or form, as this would cause legal issues. Now if the original authors/owners of said maps were to contact Doublethink and give him permission to reproduce/port said maps, then it would be a whole different story, and cashed would be plenty able to do so.

well, that's if you want to 'officially' ship it, I don't think anybody can be stopped from 're-creating' the gameplay of those maps in a cspm format, just don't call it 'official'. Have anybody of the cspm team attempted to contact the original authors?
I agree the 'gets a spot in the default mappack' was not a good wording, but didn't warrent your reply.
You got to learn to temper temper bio-boy ... if you ever want to be taken seriously.

Wow, are you hostile and vulgar to everyone that suggests a way for people to help out?

In all fairness, it's probably a question or a statement that's been said a thousand times already, if someone asked you the same question several times over, I'm sure you'd be slightly hostile towards them.

I don't see how it's vulgar at all.

If you'd remove the sentence "You should really know your shit before opening your mouth.", his post would be completely neutral. Now, looking at the sentence "You should really know your shit before opening your mouth.", you'll see that it's not very vulgar at all. It's more of a tip for future comments, that you should know what you're talking about (your "shit") before you start stating stuff.

Corrected :)

if(noob!=Genius) {return PLUGIN_HANDLED}
else if(equali(noob,"Genius")) {mkpost();}

You don't need "{...}" if there's only one command after "if" or "else if"
