Why not mate? The map is great, have a question thought. What remains to be fixed? Some kind of weird bug, needs to be better structured/build, needs better textures, more detail? What is your thought about that? There is a clan1_mill out there for CS:S where they put a orange tree next to the ladder to B site. That version is quite good, but the orange tree in the middle of that area is malplaced imo.

For a basic map thats looking damn nice, like the simplicity, maps shouldnt need to rely on fancy textures imo.

BTW something thats kinda related to maps, i may have remembered something like editing the game to 1.6, player:map size. Was just wandering are you editing the player size or the map size (if you are changing it ofc)

Thats why i said anyone "creating" mill

Then again chances are i dreamt it :S

Last I heard, their going to make new player models and make them 1.6 size and I can't see why they would stray from that now.

alex and i had this discussion before. from a mapping standpoint scaling the map doesn't work. scaling original maps to fit simply makes brushes sizes that don't work nice ( not divisible by 2 and why have to go through every block and fix it, level dimensions would be changed slightly). Also a fact that no one would be able to use hl2/CSS props for the maps. There's a lot to it and i swung Alex in my direction. Sometimes the easy way isn't the best way to do it.

It needs to be done in the end anyway, in my opinion at least, for CS:P to really succeed as a popular mod, it needs to have different player/weapon models to source before it becomes really popular. For now, sure, the majority of pros and the few hundred pub players are happy, but for mainstream success it has to look different and better than Source.

Well, that's what I think at least ;)

Stryke, mill, and honestly fire are all real good maps. Definitely hoping to see them in csp at least at some point :)
