obviously it plays fine, but its literally hard to see people in the shade... sure leave the shadow there but up the lighting so models dont blend with the wall

Obviously not used to usefull feedback.

Eveo is right, the models shouldn't blend with the walls because of the shadows, even if it looks less in game.
There is an angle from where the shadow comes from, and in this situation, either the terrorists or counter terrorists have
an advantage because one of the teams is more clear to see than the other.

Picture shows that the opposite side has a brighter look, where you can see players more easily.

Remove the shadows or change the angle so it comes from the sides, so both teams are equal imo!

I recommend at least putting the Terrorists in the dark half, just to stop people moaning.

You know, you can recompile the map with the env_environment set to an angle of -90 and not have any shadows?

Makes everyone happy.

shadows are fine, the overall lighting needs to be brighter. its shadowing an already too dark of a map, 1.6 original is MUCH BRIGHTER than this version its not a difficult concept to grasp.
