I think my teacher should just recognize me as his equivalent, give me an A, and tell me to leave.
I don't want to give up my C++ study time to write essays :(

I got jewed on the placement essay so I had to take the English class before English 1. Breezed through that crap like it was nothing. Now I have to take English 1... Just give me an A and don't waste my time =.=
Hell, I'll settle for a B. Doing the work isn't worth the extra grade point.
p.s. If this teacher is one of those teachers that requires heavy reading, I'm going to kill something. Don't know what, but something is going to die.

Well smartin, looks like you'll have to be a possible sacrifice to relieve myself of what may be a large amount of anger. You should feel honored :twisted:

If I killed you IRL that'd be one less person playing Aion. As an alternative, I'll just have to train mobs on you.
Guess I should get to class early. Being on the waitlist and all, I want somewhere to sit.

Yeah, it goes all the way up to their neck. Although you can't really tell it's there since the top of the mane has the same hair color as... well... your hair.
And smartin, you are saved. It doesn't look like this teacher is a "SPEND YOUR WHOLE WEEKEND READING! BWHAHA" kind of teacher.
However, judging by the first "see where you are at" essay assignment, I don't think I'm going to like this. He had us look at a Porche ad and told us to analyze it; I'm not good with pictures. Give me an essay to read and I'll pump out another essay on the same topic in a half an hour. But an image? A picture is NOT worth a thousand words for me.
What is English1? Is it a first- or second-language subject, and what level of education is it a part of?
My new term starts on 20th im fuking scared of it :D

Considering I don't know any other languages >.> :lol:
It's college level. The last English course I'll ever have to take.
Sorry, but what level is college-level? I should know (my dad's American) but I can't remember.

Preschool(optional) -> elementary school -> junior highschool -> highschool -> college(optional--yet manditory)(end of the line)
Not really end of the line. You could always go for a masters degree/specialization or even a phd. :)

I generally lump "college" and "university" in together, regardless if it's correct or not. Same shit, different smell (but not that different).
Cool, that's what I thought. Good luck with the class. It sounds pretty dreadful - some of my highschool English classes had a large focus on media analysis (newspaper articles, advertisements etc.) and I don't remember them fondly.
