View Full Version : I'm buying a laptop for my birthday, suggestions?

Well it's my birthday on Saturday and i'm still looking around for the laptop that i want.

I'm gonna be using it mainly for CSP/CSS and COD4, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I posted here since gaming comes before work ;). I've got around £500 to play with so a good graphics card and RAM is a must.

Any Suggestions?

I was at Future Shop the other day and they have a wide selection of laptops. I don't know how the prices compare to a local computer/electronics store though. I sales associate will know which one is best for gaming.

laptop's get really hot and are pretty bad for gaming, if you have to get one, definately get a laptop cooler to sit it in.

anyway, you'll find something from one of these sites, no point me suggesting something, it's your choice:

you want at least 17 inch screen with a good processor to be honest.

i stopped first time when it started burning my balls off.

sitting outside in the sun with a crappily cooled laptop supported by your crotch is not a good idea.
