hey guys, yet ANOTHER suggestion from me! i know, youre probably sick of reading my ideas and want to get to implementing them already! but, here's another one i think would be great in competitive play.
turrets.
you would be able to buy a turret, for maybe $7000 or something, and you can place it anywhere on the map. now thats a lot of money, so with that price you would expect a pretty damn good turret. maybe it would be like as strong as an m4, rapidly firing, with infinite ammo or something. it would require constant attention, so you couldn't just pop up a turret at banana on inferno for example, and leave to go to a. and after like 2 or 3 kills it would 'burn out' and you'd have to spend $3500 or so to repair it. maybe it would be upgradeable too, like for an extra $1000 you could make it 10% stronger, or last an extra kill or something.
examples of this working in games include titles such as team fortress 2 or modern warfare 2. i think its a great addition to the counter-strike arsenal (face it, it's getting pretty boring. every match is ak-m4-awp. we need something to spice up the game.)
